We were dissatisfied with the current products available for producing quality mounds for woodland creation.

We set to work creating our own mounding machine, and after a year of development and testing, the patent pending Carrick 6x6 Power Mounder was created.

After noticing the benefits of the ground drive PTO option on agricultural tractors for propelling trailers up steep gradients, we thought this could be a huge benefit in propelling a tractor mounted mounding machine.  

Due to its 6x6 design, The Carrick 6x6 Power Mounder has improved hill climbing ability and safety.

Due to the weight of the mounder being supported by a driven axle, it is possible to be made heavier than many existing continuous mounders. Combined with our innovative spade wheel design, the Carrick 6x6 Power Mounder can leave larger mounds which penetrate into clay and mineral soil, reducing weed issues. 

The patented tripping mechanism on the Carrick 6x6 Power Mounder uses no electrics which makes the mounder easier to maintain by the operator and increases reliability and longevity. The design of the tripping mechanism also creates a very impressive work rate and accuracy. 

By avoiding using a tracked machine, the 6x6 Power Mounder reduces tearing the ground when turning, whilst maintaining large amounts of traction from its 3 driven axles. Duel wheels can be added for wet ground conditions.

As you can see in the video below, the 6x6 capability of the machine allows it to climb very steep gradients compared to a unassisted machine.
