We cover a wide variety of rural road construction and improvement services.
We have a range of low ground pressure excavators and dumpers, both wheeled and tracked which are ideally suited to wet ground conditions.
We operate a Pegson 900x600 mobile crusher, enabling us to make use of onsite stone, potentially cutting costs of a road project substantially.
Our Noram self propelled grader is ideally suited to rural road improvement. Its compact size enables it to access narrower roads, which typical graders could not, providing a cost efficient method of improving existing rural roads.
Floating road
Our patented floating road was designed for use in extremely wet conditions, over deep peat.
By using this method of road construction, roads which may have not been possible to create, or gained planning permission, can continue over areas of deep peat or very wet land, leaving no disturbance to the ground.
Twin track roads
Our efficient 'stone box' method of creating twin track roads, can produce new roads, using less stone for 4x4 vehicle use, as well as leaving a more discrete visual effect on the landscape.
Our Kirpy Tractor mounted crusher, breaks up the surface of rough roads leaving a smooth and level finish. In some situations this implement can be used instead of adding a surface layer of stone to existing roads, reducing costs. It can also be used when creating roads out of rough onsite stone, creating a finished surface without buying in finer aggregates.
Rough forest road produced from as dug quarried stone before Kirpy crusher pass
Road after Kirpy crusher passing
We completed this bridge in July 2020 for a local estate. The bridges initial use is for timber extraction for a forwarder crossing. The bridge has also gained a much shorter access to fields used by the farm.
